Mark Dudenhefer Elected to Virginia House of Delegates

With the election of Mark Dudenhefer to the Virignia House of Delegates there was a vacancy created on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors. By state law the vacancy had to be filled almost immediately by way of the current Board members appointing an interim Supvervisor. Ty sought the appointment and was selected by the Board of Supervisors to fill the vacancy.

State law also requires a Special Election to be held for a permenant member to fill the remainder of the term started by Mark Dudenhefer. The Board of Supervisors selected to hold the Special Election on April 3rd, 2012.

Ty has decided to seek to be elected to the seat by the people of the Garrisonville District. On April 3rd voters in the Garrisonville District will go to the polls to elect a Supervisor to serve the remainder of the current term which expires in 2013.
